    From: Joan Pliego Sent: Wed Nov 12 19:11:14 2008 Subject: City of Snoqualmie Flood Update City of Snoqualmie News Release Updated release: November 12, 2008, 7:10 p.m. Contact Information: Joan Pliego Communications Coordinator jpliego@ci.snoqualmie.wa.us 425-888-1551 x203 Snoqualmie flood update Snoqualmie, WA - The Snoqualmie River near Snoqualmie crested at approximately 4:00 p.m. this afternoon. At this time, the river level is 44,400 cfs and is expected to recede later this evening. The Snoqualmie Emergency Operations Center will continue to monitor river levels and offer emergency information and assistance until 12:00 p.m. on Wednesday, November 12. It will reopen at 8:00 a.m. on Thursday, November 13. Those in need of assistance may call 425-888-5911. The warming shelter at the Snoqualmie Fire Station closed at 7:00 p.m. Those requiring overnight shelter may contact the American Red Cross at 206-323-2345. Road closures continue at Northern at Pickering Court; SE Mill Pond Rd from Meadowbrook Bridge to Tokul Rd SE; SE Reinig Rd from 396th Drive SE to Meadowbrook Bridge; and Cedar at Fir. Road closure updates are available on the King County website at http://www.metrokc.gov/kcdot/roads/roadalert/default.aspx . School closure updates are available on the Snoqualmie Valley School District website at www.svsd410.org . # # #
